My name is Eneko Ruiz, I´m from Spain.
My website is a Sport based Social Network. The project was started on July 07 and we went online on February 08. We are over 9 workers right now.
We don´t have a revenue yet, but the business plan has some strategics on ads and micro-payments for pro version and some aditional services.
It´s founded and invested from a venture capital group, with multinational shareholders.

We are using Plone Technology and our structure is our best feature. We do have profiles, groups, events, and leagues all perfectly structured. The website gives you a sub-domaine with your own name, so basically you have your own personal website.

We´ll reopen the site on September.
Please review my site and pass it along and add a link if you feel it worthy.

Cheers,

Eneko Ruiz

I'd like to submit: ViewFromNorthAmerica.blogspot.com, but I don't fund it.

I'd like to do some ad optimization on the site, but more, I want people to read my articles

I started sports Dirt and more in the summer of 2007
I started blogging because I was looking for a
place that I could talk sports and what ever else
I wanted to talk about. I am doing this mainly
for a fun, but I would like to make it a main
stream blog. I really have not gotten to were
I want to be but I have a plan to make it main
stream. I started using blogger, but recently
for more of a challenge I moved my site to wordpress.
I mainly have used google ad sense and Microsoft
but also have tried a couple other places.
I really have not made any money, I would like
too. If I could use this extra cash to bring Sports
Dirt & More to were I want it to be.
I would really like to have a design program that
would help me get me where I want to be. I have
found mulitply blogs that I enjoy reading. I see
the internet taking sports to the next level.

1.) August, 2007

2.) I used to write football columns for a fantasy football site, but they went under, so I decided I'd publish myself.

3.) I'm only 18, so I don't have much of a background yet, but I've done a lot of journalism-related things in the past few years, including writing as a music critic for a local magazine in Cleveland.

4.) I do it because it's fun, but because it's fun, I hope it can be my career.

5.) My goal is to write good posts and get paid for it.

6.) I promoted it heavily, emailing Deadspin and other blogs early on, and they linked to it enough that I got to 10,000 uniques a month by the third month. Later on, I got featured as a "Blogger-Powered Blog of Note." That was after I had moved over to Wordpress, by the way.

7.) Wordpress

8.) Adsense and Yardbarker mostly, though I have experimented with others. Most of my revenue comes through private ad sales, though.

9.) $100 as of January

10.) Design--Right now, it's having errors on IE with my sidebar. Really though, I'd want better marketing for Firefox just to take Bill Gates' trash out of use.

11.) I pay a lot of attention to marketing blogs like John Chow and Shoemoney. Sportswise, they are The Big Lead, Dan Steinberg, and Injury Rate over at Fan IQ.

12.) Individual and niche content will become more important. Wait, that's not a bold prediction, that's what's already happening. But, as a journalism major, I think this related to the newspaper industry. No one is attracted to them because they are about so many topics that they can't specialize and build a loyal fanbase. But, if there was content produced by people as proffessional as journalists that related to a single topic, fans of that topic would really flock to it.

Rumors and Rants (http://sportsyenta.blogspot.com/). Started in the Fall of 2006 because a few sports writers wanted an outlet. Three out of the four writers on the site have journalism degrees from Indiana University and write for papers in Indiana and Illinois. We do it for fun but would love to make money from it. We broke the story of Eric Gordon switching his commitment from U of Illinois to Indiana a week before anyone else reported it. We use blogger. We would love some help with design, marketing, ad optimization and getting our full-time site online. I love EDSBS and of course Deadspin. In the future I think nearly all sports writing will be done in the form of blogs.
Thanks,

Greetings!

My name is Ben Johnson and I have recently developed a new website titled: BCS Busters Inside College Football. For the past 4 years I have researched the issues behind the BCS Controversy and I believe this can be linked to the College Football Association, where a group of 63 power schools banded together and stripped the NCAA of its governing authority in regulating television revenue.

I am nearing the completion of a book manuscript, which is the purpose of the site as I will be marketing this book in the near future. I have chosen the ebook format because you can update and embed video (YouTube, DivX, ESPN, Google, Yahoo..etc) which creates a stronger product. Please review my site and pass it along and add a link if you feel it worthy.

My old wordpress site can also be found at www.bcsbusters.wordpress.com

My new site can be found at www.ncaa-schedule.com

NCAA obviously standing for National Championship for Americans Association.

Currently I utilize Commission Junction and Link-share for ad spots and have affiliated myself with a revolutionary audio advertisement company (Pay Per Play) as this looks to be the wave of the future. This revolutionary advertising company looks to surpass Google Adsense within the next three years.

Thanks for the opportunity.
